The updated version of the iconic wireless follow-focus — the Tilta WLC‑T06 Nucleus‑M II Ultimate Kit — has arrived.

Key upgrades include 4‑channel control for focus, iris, zoom, and a variable ND filter, reduced latency, and an improved hand unit (the "grenade"). But the controller itself has seen the most dramatic changes:

• 2.4‑inch touchscreen;
• New physical buttons;
• Adjustable resistance settings;
• Depth of field indicator;
• Remote camera control (ISO, white balance, shutter speed, etc.) with Sony FX3 and FX6;
• Left‑handed operation support;
• Displays on the ends of the controller + a removable display on the wheel itself.

The motors haven't been neglected either — torque has been increased. The system supports 0.8 and 0.5 pitch gears. The manufacturer also promises even smoother focusing.

The second‑generation follow‑focus is fully compatible with first‑generation motors and with the Nucleus Nano II. You never know what might come in handy on set 😉
